Feline Forest is on it's way to AHWC

Have you been to the woods and noted that there are signs of spring starting to pop up? The other day, while working on the beds at the clinic, we noticed that the daffodils were starting to come up. Wow, what a great thing. Well, one idea led to another and our resident Muralist started working on a project for our kitty room. She has designed a forest within their play room. They will have a variety of kitty perches for jumping and playing. There will be tunnels and holes to hide in. Now, all the kids won't play pretty and not all of them will be able to play together, but everyone will have play time.
Take a look at our pictures and we will be adding more. You are always welcome to take a tour of the Hospital.

Petie Possum comes visit

Monday was a crazy day, lots was happening, before we knew what had occurred, Petie Possum came. Now, if you did not know it, we at Animal Hospital of Walnut Cove, work very closely with wildlife. If you find an injured wild animal, you can either call and we will give you a rehabers name, or you can just bring it to the clinic. It does not cost anything.
Well, Petie came in and he had been in a car accident. No he wasn't driving, he was actually crossing the road, and wham..the car incident.
We were not sure how he would do, so we did xrays, an exam and then waited.
Well, good news...Petie had a bloody nose, skinned leg and was an extremely lucky guy. He spent the night at the AH Hilton and then bid adieu to the girls and headed back home.

Hey, check our new Sign outfront...you will love it

Wow, if you haven't seen the great sign, guaranteed to help you Spay or Neuter
your pet, you've missed good cartoon art. Vicky and Sherry have been working on updating the signs to make them more fun. Come by and take a look and don't forget, February is 20 % off spaying and neutering. Call for more information at 591-8250. Animal Hospital of Walnut Cove
